Return & Refund Policy
Due to the commercial scale, industrial nature, and significant logistics overhead associated with heavy cargo equipment shipping, all container returns, exchanges, and order cancellations are bound to the structural policy conditions set forth below.
1. Order Cancellations & The 7-Day Refund Time
Buyers may cancel a validated container order for a full refund of the invoice amount up to 48 business hours prior to the scheduled depot dispatch time.
Once a refund is approved—whether due to a timely cancellation or a valid on-site delivery specification mismatch refusal—Steel Box Source will process and return the funds to your original payment method within a strict 7-day refund timeline.
2. On-Site Inspection & Delivery Refusal
We maintain strict quality control standards. Upon arrival of the haulage vehicle, the buyer must thoroughly inspect the external and internal structure of the container unit before it is offloaded from the truck trailer bed.
If the delivered equipment fails to meet the exact structural grading specifications detailed on your sales order, you have the right to refuse the delivery. In the event of a valid specification mismatch refusal, we will arrange a replacement unit or issue your money back within our standard 7-day refund processing window.
3. 30-Day Post-Delivery Return Policy
Once a container unit has been successfully offloaded from the delivery truck and formally accepted, buyers have a maximum of 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange.
To qualify for a return within this 30-day window, the container must remain in the exact structural condition in which it was delivered and must not have been permanently modified, painted, or damaged on-site. Approved 30-day returns require the buyer to bear 100% of the return freight haulage fees back to our designated origin depot, alongside an industry-standard 15% restocking fee.
